Coaches Statement
Andrew Sowards will return as one of
the Wyandotte Bears top players in 2009. He will be the
featured wideout in a balanced I Pro offense. In 2008,
AJ had nearly 500 yards receiving and scored 4
touchdowns. His ability to run great routes and rack up
yards after the catch made him a viable threat.
Defensively, AJ was matched up against his opponents
best receiver. You can expect to see the same approach
for the Bears in 2009. AJ played exceptionally well on defense
where he had 4 int's and 40 tackles. AJ is a scrappy and
tough player who has a nose for the ball. He is a
physical player that will hit you on offense and
defense. Andrew was selected as a team captain and has
done a great job of fulfilling his role. Andrew Sowards
is a
three sport player in football, basketball, and track.

involved in extra curricular activities. My goals are to
contribute all that I have to my senior year, while at
the same time enjoying every moment that I can. My
